Tucked between the vigor of Daytona Beach and the ancient charm of St. Augustine, the county holds the key to 19 miles of natural Atlantic Ocean beaches. Considered by many to be the quiet side of Florida, it has become an appealing destination to escape from the uproar of big cities and chaos of modern life.
With that, our county also holds the conveniences of our neighboring cities just a short drive away. Here in Flagler County we have our own airport designed for small private planes and we are within an hour's drive of Orlando, Sanford, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach international airports. We have the ability to relax in our safe haven or take a short drive and enjoy our state's metropolitan areas.

Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are all just a quick trip down the interstate. For the space enthusiast or just those curious about NASA, the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral is just down the coast. With just a quick trip in your car, you can find yourself enjoying just about anything of interest from amusement parks to swimming with dolphins, it's all right here.

The annual average temperature is a comfortable 71°. Here, we can take advantage of our natural surroundings year-round.
Throughout the county, there is an abundance of recreational activities to choose from to include canoeing, kayaking, motorcycling, bird watching, hiking, biking, fishing, sailing, boating and more. There is plenty of opportunity to sit back at one of our many parks to enjoy a picnic and take in the fresh air or head to our beaches and take a long walk in the sand.
Palm Coast is a golfer's paradise, with some of the best golfing in Florida with eight courses in the city of Palm Coast and twelve courses in the county. It's rare to find a golf course in the United States where you can breathe in clean ocean air while putting on the green; in Flagler County there are two stunning courses resting right on the Atlantic.

Not only is Flagler County beautiful and fun, it is also incredibly safe and clean. There is so much to do and so much to see, yet if all one wants to do is sit back and relax, there is no pressure to do otherwise. Life in Flagler County is fabulous. It is never difficult to venture out on any day and you would have to head south of here to find traffic. One can live a fun, affordable lifestyle here on the "quiet side of Florida."

Boating is always an option with the Atlantic at your fingertips and plenty of ramps and marinas with full access to the water. Golfing is aplenty in Flagler County with more than 10 courses available to play. In Palm Coast alone, there are several oceanfront courses you can utilize while breathing in fresh ocean air.
Overall, crime is low while police protection is always visible. You can feel comfortable and secure in your decision to raise a family or retire here knowing your safety is guaranteed. In addition, there is a great deal of green space and wildlife in the county which is all protected and kept clean by our dedicated local government. Litter and waste is practically nonexistent and our natural beauty is preserved for the county's future. Traveling through our stunning neighborhoods either oceanside or inland, it's impossible not to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us here in Flagler County.
