Creekside Festival
The Annual Creekside Festival is a two-day free event filled with fun for the entire family. Set at Flagler County’s crown jewel, Princess Place Preserve on the shores of Pellicer Creek, there is plenty to do. Hike scenic trails, tour pristine wetlands via kayak, enjoy a photography exhibit, play games with the kids, listen to live music, watch live music performances and more.
Northeast Florida - with live music, great food and good old-fashioned fun – came together under the spreading oaks of the park for the fourth annual Creekside Festival which took place Saturday Oct. 11 and Sunday Oct. 12, 2008.
The popular two-day festival continues to offer something for everyone. Live bluegrass music for music aficionados. Arts and crafts booths, a photo contest and even pumpkin painting for artistic souls. Storytellers, a blacksmith demonstrating his skills, gemstone mining and tractor tours for the curious minds. Top it off with a bounce house and crafts to inspire fun for the younger pack. This all makes up one of the finest festivals around and it is easy to see why more than 10,000 people came to this year's event and made a weekend adventure of it.
The festival is presented by Sawmill Creek, a 1,000 acre centerpiece community planned by nature, designed for living. The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates organizes the yearly event.
