COMMUNITY EVENTS CALENDAR
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, as well as many other civic and community organizations, are constantly putting on fun family events in Flagler County. From cookouts and 5k runs to street parties and formal dinners, every one is guaranteed to find something that interest them.
The Chamber itself hosts events all year long. From monthly Business After Hours networking events to eight Eggs & Issues breakfast meetings and four Chamber dinners, there is always something going on.
Additionally, the Chamber hosts five major events each year: Taste of Flagler, Potato Days, Fabulous Fourth Festivities, Chamber Golf Tournament and Creekside Festival. All of these events are fun for everyone and three of them don't cost you a thing!
Flagler County's events vary widely:
The winter holidays bring “Celebrating the Holidays,” a month-long festival commemorating the holiday season. Parades, games, tree lighting, and various other types of entertainment draw residents into the street to observe the holiday.
In February, the African American Cultural Society sponsors a Black Heritage Day. At this educational, yet fun, event one will find ethnic foods, games and live music.
Cracker Day, a Flagler favorite, gives residents and visitors a glimpse into how the west side of the county was won. The day is filled with barbecue, rodeo and visiting with fellow cow-folk. Cracker Day is traditionally held the last Saturday in March.
The Fiesta Italiano, held in October, is a celebration of Italian heritage. The Italian Americans of Flagler sure know how to celebrate, the event promotes heritage awareness with great food and a festive carnival.
Keep checking our Community Calendar on our website throughout the year ~ you'll be sure to find something to do!
