Flagler County has so much going on in honor of the holiday season. Festivities include celebrations of Chanukah, Kwanzaa and Christmas and take place throughout the month of December. Flagler County boasts more than 450 clubs and organizations, many of whom celebrate the holidays with events for the community. The Chamber hosts a holiday parade, holiday Business After Hours event and a Bunnell Holiday Jamboree each year. The City of Flagler Beach and its local partners get together early in the season to host a grand “Holiday at the Beach” celebration with a parade, holiday stroll and Santa Claus even parachutes onto the beach. The Rotary Club hosts the “Fantasy Nights of Lights” event to delight Flagler County’s children all season long. There are also many holiday performances and productions at our local theaters – the Flagler Playhouse and the Flagler Auditorium. Many churches and religious organizations provide holiday programs and services throughout the month and the county parks organize events for the entire family, including a gingerbread house contest and a tea party with Mrs. Claus.
