Teens-In-Flight is a program devoted to working with teens and teaching them how to fly. The program centers around teaching teens the thrill of flying, earning a FAA private pilot license at no cost, and opening the doors to a career in aviation. To enter student must be 15 or older, still enrolled in school, write a 1000 work essay on "why I want to fly", pass a drug screening, pass an oral board, and be recommended by the School Board Superintendent or his/her designated represented. The Palm Coast Recreation and Parks Department is offering "Joy of Painting", a class that teaches you to paint realistic landscapes, seascapes, and floral in a short time, even if you have never painted before.
