Creekside Festival Gears Up For Fourth Annual Flagler Fest

The Annual Creekside Festival is a two-day event filled with fun for the entire family. Set at Flagler County’s crown jewel, Princess Place Preserve on the shores of Pellicer Creek, there is plenty to do. Take a tour of the hiking trails, a kayak tour, enjoy a photography exhibit, games for children, arts and crafts and more. Admission is free.

Flagler County - with live music, great food and good old-fashioned fun – will all come together under the spreading oaks of the Princess Place Preserve as the fourth annual Creekside Festival opens Saturday Oct. 11 and Sunday Oct. 12.

The popular two-day festival has just about something for everyone in the family. Live bluegrass music and hot-buttered blues for the music aficionados in the family. Arts and crafts booths, a photo contest and live art demonstrations for artistic souls. Storytellers, a blacksmith demonstrating his skills, horse drawn hayrides, for the active-minded individuals. Top it off with a real live butterfly house, crafts for kids and plenty of playhouse fun for the younger pack and it makes a fine weekend.

Stir in free parking, no entry fees, guided trails tours of the 1,500 acre preserve along with kayak tours and a liberal sprinkling of food vendors with everything from barbecue beef to fish tacos and it is easy to see why more than 10,000 people came to last year's event and made a weekend adventure of it.

Creekside Festival SponsorsThe festival is presented by Sawmill Creek, a 1,000 acre centerpiece community planned by nature, designed for living. The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce organizes the yearly event.
