One of Northeast Florida's most popular annual events, the Sixth Annual Creekside Festival, will take place October 9 & 10. Join us under the majestic oaks and along the stunning shores of Pellicer Creek at Princess Place Preserve for two days of family-oriented fun. The festival drew more than 15,000 visitors in 2009. The draw? Family-friendly activities including live bluegrass music, kayak and walking tours, an arts
and crafts show, a photo contest, wide variety of food vendors, activities for the kids and much more in a picturesque natural setting.
The Sixth Annual Creekside Festival will feature an expanded arts and crafts area with 100 vendors, a photography contest and exhibition, top-notch bluegrass music both days, and, back by popular demand, pumpkin painting and miniature horse rides for the kids.
One exciting addition to this year’s festivities is that the Second Annual Flagler Green Expo is now part of the Creekside Festival. Accordingly, the event will appeal to even more environmentally concious guests eager to learn about the latest in green products and services.
The Flagler Green Expo, sponsored by the Flagler Homes Builders Association, was a hit in 2009 and is back this year to educate, inform and inspire consumers about ways to make their homes, environment and lives safer, healthier and happier. The Expo is a welcome addition to the excellent group of vendors, demonstrators and features that make Creekside Festival a popular local tradition.
The Creekside Festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 10. Admission is $3 per carload. Call 386.437.0106 for more information.
