Held each year to install the Chambers' board of directors, the Annual Installation Celebration & banquet is a not-to-be-missed event for Flagler County business professionals. In addition to welcoming new board members, leaders are recognized, and awards are presented.
Taste of Flagler
The sell-out event is a popular tradition with locals eager to sample creations prepared by Flagler's leading chefs. More than a dozen local chefs, restaurateurs and caterers dish up "what's cooking" in their kitchens by sharing tastes of their signature dishes. With great food, live music, cash bar and the outstanding company you count on at every Chamber event, this annual event provides a perfect chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the many tastes of Flagler.
Run for Your Life 5K
Run, jog or walk… the choice is yours at the Run for Your Life 5K Run/Walk presented by the Palm Coast Chamber of Commerce. This popular event helps raise funds for educational scholarships given to Flagler County high school students.
Independence Day Celebration
Flagler Beach is the place to be for an Independence Day celebration like none other! Each year, visitors and locals grab the kids, their shades and some sunscreen, and head east to celebrate oceanfront in one of Florida's favorite beach towns.
Hosted by the Flagler Beach Chamber of Commerce, this one-day festival takes place in downtown Flagler Beach. There are plenty of ways to celebrate the holiday including a parade, live music, street festival, watermelon and hotdog eating contests, activities for kids of all ages and a special event for preschool aged "Lil’ Kahunas" and "Tiny Tikis." At sunset, guests settle down to watch a spectacular fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean. At dusk, guests stake out spots and settle
in for the perfect ending to a perfect day… a magnificent fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean.
Creekside Festival
Each October, Flagler County meets under the majestic oaks at Princess Place Preserve for the Annual Creekside Festival, a local tradition to celebrate the natural beauty of Northeast Florida.
Held on the shores of Pellicer Creek, the Creekside Festival has become one of the most popular festivals around, attracting more than 17,000 visitors in 2010. The draw? A weekend festival with family-friendly activities including live bluegrass music, kayak and walking tours, an arts and crafts show, a photo contest, pumpkin painting for the kids, amazing food and much more, all in a picturesque natural setting.
Chamber Golf Tournament
The Chamber has hosted an annual golf tournament for more than two decades. Chamber members, community leaders, friends and business partners get together for a day of fun on the links, followed by an awards luncheon. The Chamber will host its 24th Annual Tournament on March 16, 2012 at Grand Haven Golf Club.
