About Us

It’s not about us, it’s about you!

Like most chambers of commerce, the Flagler Chamber was formed by a group of local business leaders to address a major concern. In 1962, that concern centered on plans to construct a new interstate (I-95) that would completely bypass Bunnell’s business district along the US-1 corridor. Businesses rallied to raise funds to erect billboards along the newly constructed I-95 letting people know that Flagler County was open for business. This effort marked the formation of the Flagler County Chamber, an organization with a mission of helping the local business community thrive. That was our mission fifty-some years ago, and that is our mission today.

You are part of a successful organization that is committed to working with and for its members to support businesses in Flagler County. Our organization meets the needs of nearly 700 members giving them the competitive advantages they need to succeed.

This website was created to help you navigate the programs, benefits, opportunities, activities, committees and events that make up our organization. We’re hopeful the site will give you enough information to learn about opportunities you may want to pursue and whom to contact.

We encourage you to make the most of your chamber investment. Please call or visit the office whenever we can help with your business; check this site frequently to see what’s happening locally; volunteer to serve on a committee or the board; attend events and functions throughout the year and network as much as you can. Most of all, let us know how we are doing serving you and what we can do to help your business thrive.
