Held each winter to welcome the incoming board of directors, the Flagler Chamber's Annual Installation Celebration is a not-to-be-missed event for Flagler County business professionals and leaders. 2016 BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNERS
In 2013, we modified our awards program by asking members to tell us what they had done to be more innovative, visible and customer focused. Not only was the reception extremely favorable, but we also found real value in allowing our winners to share their success stories with others. We’re hopeful this year’s awards competition will encourage even more members to take credit for and share best practices that other businesses may want to emulate.
Winner categories and the 2016 Winners: Diplomat of the Year
Mike Richards of Vector Security was selected Chamber Diplomat of the Year, based on points he earned throughout the year in exchange for his attendance and involvement. Most Innovative Product/Service
Flagler Humane Society for Most Innovative Product/Service: Inspired by a seven-year-old obese Australian Shepard mix named Zeus whose owners could no longer afford his treatments, the Flagler Humane Society created a Wellness Clinic to help pet owners with low-cost vet exams and treatments. The Wellness Clinic has been very well-received and is filling an important need in our community. Excellence in Customer Service

Palm Coast and the Beaches Real Estate as Small Business of the Year: This business has experienced successful growth year over year, but the owner and staff’s attention to community service really differentiated them from other applicants. S.E. Cline Construction, Inc. as 2016 Large Business of the Year: This business recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary and currently employs 60 people. S.E.
