Installation Celebration

Held each winter to welcome the incoming board of directors, the Flagler Chamber's Annual Installation Celebration is a not-to-be-missed event for Flagler County business professionals and leaders. In addition to honoring new board members, leaders are recognized and awards are presented as part of the Chamber's Business Awards program.

Join the "Who's Who" list of Flagler's business community at this popular annual event. Click here for sponsorship opportunities or contact Heather Edwards at 386-206-0952 to learn more.

In 2013, the Chamber modified its awards program by asking members to tell us what they had done to be more innovative, visible and customer focused. Not only was the reception extremely favorable, but we also found real value in allowing our winners to share their success stories with others. We’re hopeful this year’s awards competition will encourage even more members to take credit for and share best practices that other businesses may want to emulate.

Small Business of the Year - Air Pros of Flagler County

Established in August 2007, this family owned and operated business started as a husband/wife team, an assistant and another relative as its customer service and office manager. Within three years, they hired 3 full-time technicians and moved into their first office location. With a reputation for fairness and honestly, Air Pros grew to 10 full time employees by 2015 and 16 today.  2017 was the company's most successful from a growth standpoint with increases in both residential and commercial customers. While financial strength is certainly important, giving back to the community is also a key focus and the list of organizations and events this business supports is very long.

Large Business of the Year - Intracoastal Bank

Intracoastal Bank opened in 2008 with a goal of supporting the community by building strong and lasting relationships with clients. Established by a team of local residents and business owners with long-standing ties to the community, this business truly operates like a  “hometown” bank and, in fact, is the only locally owned bank in Flagler County.

These employees live in the communities they serve and participate in local events and organizations, as well as serve on numerous nonprofit boards like the Flagler County Education Foundation, Take Stock in Children, Women United of Flagler, VMA, United Way Volusia Flagler, Flagler County Rotary, CareerSource Flagler Volusia, Florida Hospital Flagler, Habitat for Humanity and more.

Over the past decade Intracoastal Bank has played an important role and shared in the success of its customers by loaning more than $350 million to companies for their launch and expansions. At the same time, the bank has reported impressive and consecutive growth over the past three years with ambitious plans to sustain growth for the foreseeable future.
