The 2008 Installation Banquet was a great time for everyone in attendance. Held at The Club at the Ginn Hammock Beach Resort, 240 members of our local business community and members of our local government enjoyed a delicious meal, great networking and a speech by U.S. Senator Bill Nelson. Flagler County Commission Chair Jim O'Connell performed the installation ceremony of our 2008 board of directors. The new board members installed are: Kim Carney of Eagles Nest Storage; Ryan Detering of the Ginn Championship; Honora Giumenta of Exit Realty First Choice; and Garry Lubi of Prosperity Bank. Senator Nelson and Chamber President Doug Baxter had the chance to catch up before dinner. The 2008 Board of Directors were installed by Flagler County Commission Chair Jim O'Connell (far left). Jay Gardner and Charlie Helm were awarded for serving six years on the Chamber board until their term expired this year. Sid Nowell, not pictured, was also awarded for his service to the board. Everyone enjoyed a great Ginn meal at the banquet. There was plenty of time to network during the cocktail hour prior to dinner. Many of the Chamber staff had the opportunity for a photo op after the dinner.
