Please obey all posted speed limits, be alert and aware of other vehicles and equipment on the road, and
make sure you give yourself enough time so you are not rushed and/or distracted.
Remember, safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Segment 2 (South 22nd Street to South 9th Street) Project Update:

As construction of the new French drain system continues, residents and motorists along South Central Avenue are advised to be alert to trucks delivering the large concrete structures that will be installed on the project. Please understand that maneuvering these trucks into the work zone may require short disruptions to traffic or access.

Work also continues on installing the new 12-inch water main through the project. Works is underway north of South 19th Street. There will be periodic side street closures for material delivery, and may result in some impacts to business and residents. We will attempt to minimize the impacts as we progress. The project team will coordinate with business owners and work to ensure access is maintained. Pedestrian accommodations will also be maintained.
